The Grand Way course derives its name from the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy. This canal is this central artery from which all the other canals flow. It is the source of life for this unique city. Healthy older adults must also have a “Grand Canal” — a source of meaning from which the rest of their activities flow. The four life strategies presented in The Grand Way course provide that central reference for a healthy Christian older adult.
